Unstated minimum fee and poor communication
We reached out to the company to come and assess some cracks in our walls. Despite asking in advance, no quote or mention of a call out fee was ever given. During the inspection the builders were present for approximately 5 minutes. We later received an invoice for £66 which wasn’t mentioned at the visit. Contact with the company took multiple attempts, finishing with being told that they have a minimum call out fee which wasn’t mentioned at the visit.
