KITCHEN REFIT

Rewire
This company have been understanding, patient and so flexible! We had them booked in originally September however due to problems in the house move it wasn't until December that we got the keys. Stewart went out of his way and above and beyond to cater for us on our set dates. He has worked so hard and done an amazing job. The house has been transformed. Not only that Stewart himself has been extremely friendly and approachable chopping and changing things for us with no quibble. Trace a fault causing fuse box to trip off
I contacted Stewart over the weekend about a possible fault that was causing the fuse box to trip off. He we very honest in advising me to wait until Monday as that will save me money on "call out" charge. He was prompt, professional and neat. However, I asked him for on estimate but he suggested to complete the work first he doesn't know what surprises he might find. Work completed and I get an invoice of £230. More than what I budgeted for! As the customer suggested he wanted me to attend on a Sunday but advised a weekday to avoid any higher charges I told him our hourly charges to which he was fine with and explained I may be an hour I may be longer We don't know until we start dismantling the ring to find fault we was 2 hours in everything is in pieces and makes no sense to put back together until found As per last electrician that attended it is very clear the house was never rewired by an electrician and has been installed with poor workmanship - issues found everywhere and corrected whilst I was working The ring jumped from place to place and the fault in the end was between 4 sockets We was on site the first visit for 5 hours and also had to source an old mcb ringing wholesalers and enquiring online that was compatible and return to install another day I'm sorry that we couldn’t quote first but it's almost impossible to do so as we don't know what we looking at until we start investigating and testing It's unfortunate that another customer has been left in the first place a poor installation.
