Upon first meeting Julian you could tell he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He knew exactly what the problem was and what needed to be done with replacing/adding a lintel above one of our windows. Julian and Mikey were prompt to get to work and managed to squeeze us in within a week as we needed the work done before we could move in. I was impressed at how tidy they were especially considering the state our house was in when we bought it. He quoted a fair price for the work and stuck to the price agreed. We decided to call him back to remove an old chimney breast and internal wall.

Previously found on Checkatrade to fix broken toilet, was happy with service etc. So called back for further works in the kitchen, plumbing, electrics, carpentry, Plastering and painting. 
I have already recommended and will continue to do so-excellent professional, respectful tidy workmanship.

Julian & Mike were punctual, polite, professional very tidy. This was valuable to me as a senior aged lady with health conditions I felt safe. And he even left  a hose on the outside tap they installed!

Garden landscaping.

Once again - wellcome back 1st Choice: this time to fill cracks in plaster walls, under coat, paint and gloss the woodwork in our hallway and stair well.  All done to their usual high professional standard, and firendly manner.  Julian and Mikey are always willing to go above and beyond their usual remit: this time changing locks and extra painting.  Once again - a great job guys.

Not only are they extremely good at their job, but they are also always willing to discuss design, suggesting improvements – which we often appreciate and agree to.  I have no problem recommending 1st Choice for any building and decorating jobs you may have.

Have used this company before and again very happy with the quality and workmanship given.  Even though a small job this time, I will be using them a my goto.  Reliable and would definitely recommend.
