Adam Smith (formerly Smith &amp; Sons) started as decorators in 1997. To date we have nearly 30 years&#39; experience and a lot of happy customers. We specialize in painting and decorating, including interior and exterior work, painting, lining, wallpapering, all preparation - sanding, filling, floor staining. Can also organize plastering. Our aim is always to leave any job with very satisfied customers.

Adam is a rare find in this field of work. He is such a gentle and genuine person, and a pleasure to have around while the work was being done. We were very grateful that he was able to fit our work into his schedule before spring. It meant a lot to have everything completed on time, and it has changed our experience of the space.

The work was completed to a very high standard, which reflects his skill and attention to detail.

We are looking forward to having Adam back for more work later in the year, as we believe he is the perfect person to complete the next job as well.

Reliable, skilled and genuinely great to work with

Adam was very diligent, fast, reliable and with an eye for detail at his job. I would be involving him for further house improvements with pleasure.

Great and fast work

Adam did a really great job for me. We only had one day, for what would otherwise have been a two day job, but he used his ingenuity to make sure that he could complete the painting in one day. He was a great communicator in the run up and on the day.

Great work

Adam has completed two painting projects inside our home, and on both occasions the work has been completed to an excellent standard. We have been delighted with the outcome both times. He is careful, tidy, and  thoughtful to ensure the work is completed efficiently.   This has included repairing ceilings to a high standard.  Thoroughly recommended.

Adam is a clear and communicator, who demonstrated high business integrity, keeping me informed of progress and any snags encountered along the way. Whilst there were a couple of unexpected issues early into the job, Adam remediated these effectively and kept me updated throughout. The quality of the work was good and I was happy with the finished output. Would recommend.

The job was a redecoration of two spaces to a reasonably exacting specification. Adam understood the brief immediately and worked diligently to produce an excellent job. Really pleased with his workmanship and professionalism. Would happily recommend.
