My name is Aidan Carroll, I am a Theatrically Trained Scenic Specialist, specialised in manifesting the oddball designs of designers, keeping costs as low for the payee as possible.Although down as &#39;Painter/Decorator&#39;, my skillset does go much further.Special Effects Painting, Natural Textures through Paint Effect. Kitchen Cabinet Transformations and Wall Murals. Wooden India’s, Stripping and Re-Painting. I focus on furniture and removable items, to work on in my workshop and am easily contactable for updates on request.I am trained in basic carpentry and upholstery, as part of my theatrical degree from RADA and both fields, I practice daily for bettering myself and my craft. With reclaimed wood, taken from Team Equis own grounds, ties the in with the out. Each seat was individually constructed, webbed and upholstered by myself as well as construction of each unit.

Mixed and matched Off White to IKEAs own subtle off white. Added structure was finished with moulding and all sealed with a satin varnish

Adaptation of the clients pre-existing IKEA unit, from shelving unit to shoe cubby.

Specifically made (1 of 2), for neat storage of equestrian/gym kit.

Modular Ottoman Seating, design built and installed by myself.
At 600mm tall, designed to encompass the needs of multiple horse riders attire with a box/seat each.

A pallet wall, again tying the inside with the outside, giving a fun nod to contemporary thought and design, sustainability and environmental friendliness. Making a lovely gym equipment display/rack

Made to give maximum effect in a minimal footprint.

Carpentry Based Builds

I was given a reference picture and told to enact it, in the clients chosen colours, then sealed with satin varnish.

I convinced the client, Team Equis, to keep and repurpose their corner unit for their gym space. They allowed me to introduce a warm off white to their room with an abyssal green for a hint of nature.

Top doors adapted to be glass windows for display. A subtle texture applied in the paint work, sealed with high durability varnish.

Perfect Painting

We booked AJ concepts ( Aiden) to redecorate including filling and prepping a large kitchen/ dinning room after work and redecorate hall way and landing. 
We were so pleased we quickly booked for further work of our bedrooms and lounge. 
Aiden was amazing- he fitted around our family, clean and tidy and professional and also has such a good eye for style he advised on colours and styling when I asked. Aiden goes above and beyond I couldn’t recommend him highly enough

Excellent service

Aiden did such and amazing job painting our living room, hallway, stairs and landing. It looks amazing. He went above and beyond in preparation and handling the architraves, sills and other areas of woodwork. I couldn't recommend Aiden enough, he was a pleasure to communicate with and a perfectionist when it comes to his craft. Will certainly be using his services again.

Brilliant 5 star Services

Aidan was brilliant, great communication throughout the process and great knowledge about products and how to end with the best results. Reliable and punctual with timings and went beyond expectation with the work. Was able to advise us on choices and how to get the best results. Would highly recommended him for any house decorating work. He even made the effort to come back and do touch ups once we moved in.

Whole house painting and filling in cracks

Aidan is skilled, efficient and very easy to work with. The quote provided by Aidan was detailed and to a much better standard versus other contractors, which gave me confidence and clarity he'd understood the brief. Aidan painted a landing, bathroom, toilet and front room and built and installed floating shelves, too. I'd happily ask Aidan to quote again for work and do intend to reach out if in the market again. Lastly, Aidan's willingness to be flexible really helped navigate my time pressures. All in all, incredibly happy with the standard and quality of work completed.
