Gas Fires

The white and orange colours depict high temperature within the rad. The dark blue and purple colours show where there is a build up of the horrible black sludge, ie Magnetite, which is the result of the radiators rusting from the inside out. This sludge bocks the flow inlet and the return outlet of the rads and means the bottom of the rad is cold while the top and sides of the rad is hot.

The radiator and heating system has received a good strong cleaning operation with the aid of either a magentic cleaning aparatus or a power flushing machine which has agigitated and removed the black sludge and build up of magnetite rust., allowing the flow and returns to work perfectly without any restriction. Entire radiator is glowing hot!

From start to finish, Leslie provided a thorough job.  Friendly and chatty, he removed my old boiler, re-routed the pipes for the new boiler, and installed rhe new one in it's place.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ball of Burton for any plumbing needs.
