Hi, we are BB Development. We started our company at the start of 2019 to provide friendly and experienced workmanship in the Sussex area.Alex first started as a garden landscaper/ground worker when he first left college before he went off and learned bricklaying off a well known bricklaying family. He then joined another renown family business where he picked up a lot of he skills in general building before venturing out by himself. He has very good knowledge of many trades while still specialising in his core skill as a landscaping ground worker. Sam has studied and trained in electrical engineering at college where he learnt his core trade. He then went on to work for a local company working on domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. Wanting to further his knowledge in other trades, he has sub contacted himself out to carpenters/general builders where he picked up a lot of skills which he has later gone on and perfected. He is a very skilled worker with of knowledge in a wide range of trades.Together we cover most skills to be able to design, build and maintain properties of all shapes and sizes.We have a very high standard of what we believe the level of work should be carried out on and in people&#39;s homes. As well as taking great pride in the work we carry out and working to achieve the best we can, we have strong values in how we want our business to succeed. One of our values is that we pride ourselves on using local and independent companies for materials we use on projects, as much as we can, so we have a more personal relationship with people that we deal with everyday and promote Sussex businesses. Another value that we are very passionate about is using recycled, recyclable, reclaimed and sustainable products in our work to protect our planet and reduce our carbon footprint as builders as there is an incredible amount of waste in building.We are currently looking to push our company more towards proving Eco solutions for homes, including recycled water, solar power hopefully creating a fully energy self sufficient home.As well as being a young, eager building company looking for new innovative ideas and designs, we always have the basics ingrained in us with an &quot;old school&quot; approach of building strong, long lasting work. We hope to hear from you and look forward to being apart of your building project.

Electrical sockets and new lights in kitchen

Alex was so friendly and happy to help, his work was great and managed to squeeze the job in so we could move forward with plastering to move into our house.   Will definitely use BB development again in the future!

Bricking up fireplace and stud work for wall

Alex and Sam repointed our 1930's bungalow and have done an excellent neat job.  In addition they removed two garden sheds and left the area clean and tidy.  They communicated with us thoughout.  We will defaintly ask them to quote for future works.

Repointing and Demolition

Alex and Sam provided a great all round service.  They supplied samples to ensure the brick match was good before skilfully and carefully repairing the brickwork.   We appreciated their friendly manner and prompt email / phone exchanges.
