I started as an apprentice stone mason in Otley, West Yorkshire and since then have worked for many of the UK’s leading building contractors in roles from foreman to contract manager. My experiences during this period include working on the restoration of ancient buildings, working closely with architects, structural engineers, archaeologists on sites of ancient interest and conservationists protecting special environments.  My last assignment was to manage several large housing projects. In 1994 I formed my own company and have since then worked on projects large and small. My son Luke has joined the company having previously worked on the management team of Urban Splash on the restoration and refurbishment of the Midland Hotel in Morecambe. He is now a key member of the team.  We pride ourselves on the expert skills and knowledge our tradesmen have. We provide a personal touch with our services and attention to detail comes as standard with all our tradesmen. All aspects of our work

Our client needed a new floor slab to replace the original sandstone. We removed the sand stone, excavated 300mm, haedcored, put a damp proof membrane down, installed 100mm of king span insulation and then we put a 100mm concrete slab on top.
