I decide to use Cardiff & Vale Maintenance Contractors (after looking through Checkatrade for a reputable tradesperson) for my Outdoor job which was fitting two external doors and making framework, also securing locks and painting when finished….I have nothing but positive feedback to give:-Reliable, Polite, Punctual and hard working - Big thanks to Sher and Debbie…. I will be using them again for a bigger internal job which requires Boarding up, plastering, tiling, painting and new toilet fitted…… Thanks again!

I am writing this review to warn others about the lack of integrity shown by this business. When the fence was first installed, I raised concerns about the height. I was explicitly promised that if my neighbour had any issues with it, they would return to cut the top portion down.My neighbour has now politely requested it be lowered because it is a safety hazard; it completely blocks his view of pedestrians when he pulls out of his driveway .But the trader is demanding an extra £250 to fix it.They even sent a voice note telling me to wait for a council complaint instead of helping.

Broken promises and demanding extra money to fix issues

We had old, broken fencing replaced with close board fencing, and the difference is incredible. The garden feels private, secure, and much smarter.
