My name is Charlie Evershed and I have worked in the building trade for over 25 years and have run my own carpentry and loft conversion business for the last 20. I am skilled in all aspects from roof construction and structural work through to fine finish detail work and anything in between. promptly replied & called round ,very friendly & polite. Quote was done & sent to us immediately,  the work was done to  a very high standard , he was on time & very tidy , we are very pleased with all the doors & door furnishings.

All internal doors taken off & new doors hung ,including under stairs & landing cupboard.

Charlie has undertaken various projects for us over the last couple of months - built solid 32sqm stable/shed, new fencing, renovated front porch with electrics and a  pergola - both complex as needed to incorporate existing infrastructure. He is punctual, hard worker, problem solver and delivers a quality product. Would thoroughly recommend

Charlie recently rehung our 1920s heavy pine doors..after they were stripped …a challenging job as nothing is straight in our house! He customised another door to accommodate a smaller bathroom entrance which is brilliant! As ever, he works like a magician.. is quick and precise! Thank you Charlie!

Charlie did a fantastic job for us building a new roof extension, including soffits, fascia boards, roof tiling and wall cladding. The new extension matches the existing roof perfectly. Always friendly reliable and helpful, very highly recommended.

When getting quotes Charlie noticed an issue with the design which I flagged to Wren and had rectified before delivery. Charlie's attention to detail even when providing an estimate is what sealed the deal for us. Continued to be happy with Charlie's work, reliability and communication. Charlie replaced my leaking porch roof and installed spot lights and skylights, he did an excellent job - the skylight brings natural  light into the hall making the house much brighter. Charlie did an excellent job and left everything clean and tidy at the end of the job,  I’m totally happy with his work.
