I have over 20 years experience as a floor sander and restorer. My work over the years has covered every aspect of floor restoration. Working in a variety of settings, domestic and commercial, in such places as churches, schools, castles, and of course peoples homes. Pine flooring in Church Floor sanded and buffed. Finished with Bona Kemi Traffic matt varnish. this varnish is best used on high traffic areas

The completed floor with Natural Varnish. The floor was finished with Naturale varnish. This varnish gives the look of an oiled floor but with the added protection of a varnish.

Finished repair work around fireplace The fireplace repair work is now complete and has blended in perfectly. This floor had its gaps filled with a mixture of resin and sawdust.

Progression of the herringbone floor repair The blocks added are different in colour until the whole floor is sanded back. The blocks will become uniform once sanded and varnished.

Repair work carried out on a walnut  herringbone parquet floor This repair was done to continue the floor around a newly installed fireplace.

Pine floor boards with Antique pine stain This floor was sanded and had gaps filled with a resin mixture. A matt varnish was used to finish.

This is the second time I have used Daren as his work is excellent.  The floor looks fabulous and the work included removal/levelling of old fireplace hearth area which you wouldn't now know had been there.  Also trustworthy and reliable.

Sanded, varnished and sealed gaps and secured wooden floor

We had Darren sand and varnish our dining room/ living room and hall. He’s done a fabulous job. Looks incredible. Very easy to work with.

Sanding and sealing

My first time laying a reclaimed parquet floor from the 70’s in my dining room. It took me many days and much patience to finally finish. It looked a bit tired and wondered if I had done the right thing. Was given Darren’s number by a friend and he has transformed it and saved the day. He arrived on time and worked steadily and was chatty and obviously enjoys what  he does and left me with a beautiful flat floor. Fully recommend.

This is not the first time I have this company. They turned up on time and did a first class job in a professional way. They charged to pre agreed price and left the house tidy state.  I would definitely recommend them.
