Conscientious bricklayers, looking for smaller works; Extensions, garden walls, etc. We are Bricklayers - not jack of all trades!I have been in the Construction Industry for 40 years.At 16 started my Apprenticeship with Malvern Construction (Ilford), completing my City and Guilds Advance Craft in Brickwork in 1984.As a 2nd generation bricklayer, I then worked with my father and have covered:House buildingStructural RepairsCommercial worksFlint workIn the mid 1990’s I spent 10 years in Construction Management.Moving back to bricklaying around 2005.I have worked for all the main Brickwork Contractors in the Cambridgeshire area on mainly Housing and Commercial sites, some College Works on Jesus and Queens in Cambridge, plus on College Projects such as Student Accommodations.Now in my twilight working years I am looking to doing smaller domestic works.I can guarantee brickwork too the highest of standard.David Charles Pope

We had too remove trees, shrubs, old decaying shed. In total 24m3 of rubbish, spoil and vegetation.

Was requested by client to take care not too damage, neighbour’s plants and shrubs. Had the scars to prove it??

He did a great job.  The brickwork is everything I had hoped for and several visitors have admired the porch.  He also provided a skip and arranged for all the rubble of the old porch to be collected.

Mr Pope, arrived when he said he would kept us informed of the progress ,showing us the at different times.  He was asked to do an extra job on another wall and was able to complete this within the original schedule.  Clean and tidy removed and cleaned the work area back to original.  Would highly recommend him and a neighbour has already taken him on.
