Hi I am Colin Hamilton, Dulux Trade select approved and guaranteed painter and decorator in Sussex.Specialist in all interior and exterior painting and decorating including wall papering and general maintenance of your home. I have been a painter &amp; decorator since I left school in 1991 and went straight  in and started my 5 year city &amp; guilds apprenticeship with W Allrey and sons builders in Pulborough where I gained experience in all areas of the building trade working alongside all trades, gaining valuable experience and working on projects like the Brighton centre, Parham house and many Tudor Edwardian Victorian and Georgian property&#39;s, and churches they unfortunately ceased trading after 95 years.  I then joined another local building company Charles Wadey and sons in Billingshurst, where I finished my apprenticeship and I also worked on even more period homes and churches and commercial jobs like Lewis Land Rover and goring VW Renovations.I then went self-employed I august 1998 and set up Hamilton Decorating.Since I have worked on various projects including many show homes which have appeared in house and gardens magazines etc. and more private period properties.Also jobs like Haskins Roundstone Angmering garden centre.I offer multiple services including Coving, Decorative Finishing&#39;s, Exterior Coating, Painting &amp; Decorating, interiors Exteriors and Paper hanging. Property Maintenance &amp; Repairs. For most jobs I work by myself but for larger jobs I can work with other painters and decorators to speed things along. My design services include interior decorating and renovation. Brilliant job.  Work completed on time and to a great standard.  House looks so great!  Colin is super friendly and is considerate and careful whilst he works leaving everything tidy when he has finished.  He has decorated our property inside and out and I would thoroughly recommend him.

I can not fault the work Colin has done.  He overcame any hurdles, such as plants growing close to the wall and poor access to the side, without any trouble.  The quality of finish is excellent- perfect, in fact.  At all times he was prompt, helpful courteous and professional.  The price was very competitive too.  He even painted the garage door as an extra as he had paint left.  I would absolutely recommend him.

External decoration

Colin is excellent, trusty worthy, competent, nothing too much trouble and a font of introductions to other great trades people.  Highly recommended.

Re decorate flat throughout and remove some features and make good

Excellent - Colin was efficient, tidy, and finished every wall with precision.  He gave advice on the most suitable paint (useful for a busy house full of kids) and kindly collected the paint on our behalf.  Highly recommended.
