J Drake Flooring are a local family run business operating in the Essex and London area. **Please feel free to call me for a discussion** We have a wealth of experience combined over 60 years, we offer a unique service where you choose Carpets/Vinyls from the comfort of your own home based on product samples.  We have 1000&#39;s of samples to choose from at varying rates and styles. Giving you the opportunity to match your selection with the interior design of the property.  Included in the service are: Free Estimates - We will come to the property and measure to exact sizes, in order to prepare the carpet before arrival for installation.  Supply of Carpets, Vinyls and Materials - We specialise in supplying domestic Carpet and Vinyl, and materials including Underlay, Door Bars and Smooth Edge. As we do not have a premise and are a mobile store, we have the ability to save you £££ on materials compared to some of the larger stores.  Installation : We are a team of three and have three large vans, the team consists of John who will initially meet you to discuss the Job and provide the estimate and then keep in touch regarding fitting.The date of the fitting, you will meet the rest of the team, which includes Barry, a partner and Billy, Son of John and the newest partner.  We take on large jobs including installing whole properties in a day, to doing small jobs such as fitting a set of stairs, so nothing is to big or small. We can also provide repairs and restretches at a minimum charge.  We also provide an uplift and removal service for old floor coverings.  We have previously Sub Contracted for large organisations such as Carpet Right (25 years) and Tapi. Which is where our wealth of knowledge in domestic floor laying has been honed. We are also part of FITA the flooring association.

John and Barry supplied and fit my bedroom carpet for me and in no way is there any disappointment. John was quick to reply, quick to estimate for me, giving me price and availability same day! Wouldn’t go anywhere else and would definitely recommend.

Stairs and landing

Was given these details by a work colleague.  I can honestly say John Drake was a lovely man who listened to our requirements and we chose a lovely carpet.  When we were ready for the carpet to be fitted I contacted him and  it was fitted promptly 2 days later. Great company and fitters curtious and very good value for money. Will definately buy from them again.

Chose from a very exstensive range, new carpets for our recently decorated 2nd bedroom and stairs & landing.

The carpet was ordered and fitted within a week, the work was carried out very professionally with very little disruption, all at a very reasonable cost, I would not hesitate to use J Drake Flooring for any future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on supply and fitting of quality carpets!
