J McAteer is a family roofing business, first established in Salisbury in 1952 by my grandfather M J Mcateer and we are now into the fourth generation of continuous family tradesmen. We specialise in all manner of roofing- traditional flat roofing built up felt, torch-on, rubber roofing to tiling and slating. We also install UPVC fascia boards and guttering. We have diversified and evolved over the years as aspects in the building trade have demanded and we now have a specialist drainage department along with a bricklaying repointing and concreting service. All work is carried out by fully insured an skilled operatives and all are family members.

Organised scaffolders, carried out work very well, within quote and tidied up when job was completed. Polite and helpful.

Reseating edge roof tiles

Really easy to work with, sorted everything and planned it all! Work was completed quickly and in budget. Photos along the way to show progress.

Justin is very professional, knowledgeable, honest, polite and reliable; I thoroughly recommend him and his work.

1st job was flat roof replacement and 2nd job - Roof apex repair

Justin has undertaken two jobs for us; the replacement of a garage flat roof and reroofing a stable. Both of these jobs were carried out extremely well. Justin communicates costs at each stage and is warm and approachable at all times. Would highly recommend.

Justin turned up when he said he would turn up, the job was completed to a high standard in the time agreed and the cost was as per the quotation. He was polite and courteous throughout and I would recommend him to anyone requiring any type of roof repairs.
