Great Service!

I needed some rooms in my house decorated so reached out to a few painters, Josh was the most professional in the way he spoke with me and answered my questions, and advised me, you can tell he has been in this trade a long time. I had a vision but wasn’t sure how to explain it and he helped to bring that to life for me with colour drenching, he arrived promptly everyday and nothing was ever too much for him. I have recommended you to friends and family and will be back for the rest of the rooms. Thank you Josh

Redecorated flat

We are a GP Practice in Southsea with a room where all walls were boarded up including the window, every wall was bracketed and shelved.
Josh quoted very sensibly and competitively.
The job originally quoted for 3 days but took 2.  All shelving, brackets and boarding was removed, all walls stopped up and made good,  boarding removed from the  window.
The room was then completely re-decorated with a white finish.  It was glooming and dark and now opened up to an office for 4 people, looks fantastic.  I would highly recommend Josh & his Son Charlie, great job, good repour & honest

 From the initial enquiry through to completion, Josh’s engagement has been excellent. The quote was accurate, his time keeping was  very good and the final result was outstanding. I will definitely be using Josh again.

The Outside of the house was painted  including wrought iron railings to an excellent standard.

I contacted Josh to paint the bay window and front of my terraced house; having received a number of quotes, Josh stood out as the most professional and trustworthy.  The house had long been neglected and repairs were required, particularly to the bay, but Josh made easy work of it. His communication, cleanliness and reliability made having a workman around the house a pleasure, rather than a chore. He tidied up after himself everyday, kept me updated and worked tirelessly. The finish is better than I could have hoped for and I am looking to him painting the front door soon too. Thank you

Can't speak highly enough about JL Decorating.
Carried out a paint job that included sanding, priming and painting of the stairs banister as well as painting the hallway, stairs, landing and ceilings.
A brilliant job was carried out and they cleaned up and left things tidy each day.
Would highly recommend these guys.

Brilliant service and results

Joe came within a few days to give us a quote to decorate the main areas of the house then rearranged his workload at short notice to paint the main bedroom. He and colleague Steve have now completed the main living room, hall and stairway as scheduled.
He has communicated well with us and always turns up on time.
The work was very well done to a high standard with good prep. work, sanding and filling in cracks, with minimal disruption and the rooms were cleared up well afterwards.
Would highly recommend JL Decorating.

Efficient, high standard , tidy and works hard

This guy is amazing. He lets you know when he will come and he turns up on time. He showed me each day what he had done. And he has done a great job. I can’t fault him at all. I wanted my kitchen,  a small bedroom and the front of the house redecorated. He has made good the plaster on the walls and filled in cracks before painting. He and the young lad who works with him are very polite and easy to have in the house. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

You wouldn’t find better!

Joe has done a fair amount of work for us and also my daughter. He is fairly priced and does a great job! He's done the front of the house for us, a spare bedroom and our conservatory with 2 more rooms being done soon. He's polite, tidy and prompt. His quality is excellent. Steven who works with him is great too. Make them a coffee! They are such great guys and work really hard. Joe also gives great advice with colour schemes etc. Can't wait for them to do our dining room and lounge very soon! Great work guys!!! 5 stars all the way x

I've already reviewed Joe's fantastic work but Checkatrade thinks I haven't so here's another. 
Joe did a fantastic job for us and as I said in my other review, my wife and I are now getting to the age where doing these kind of jobs is no longer easy. Joe did a first class job, he was tidy, efficient and did exactly what we wanted of him. What more can you ask? A*, 10/10, 5 stars.

Great efficient tradesman

Derek painted our bedroom in 6 hours. He even came the day before to patch up when we made a big hole by mistake - on a Sunday as well! He’s efficient, punctual, and does a quality job. Will definitely use again.
