<p>Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I&#39;m John Murray and I&#39;ve been decorating for over 33 years now.</p><p>I&#39;ve done all aspects of decorating from heritage and listed work through to modern offices and houses and I can help you turn your tired looking rooms into fantastic spaces that you&#39;ll be wanting to show people! I can hang wallpapers and murals, work with all types of paints and spray. Over the years, through working on heritage sites I&#39;ve also done paint effects such as marbling, wood graining and stencil work. I like to fully protect the areas I work in with polythene sheeting and dust sheets and generally use dustless sanding equipment to create the least amount of dust possible. But at the end of the day, I&#39;ll hoover and leave your property as clean as I found it. </p>

This small garden space has been given a modern look with three mirrored panels to bounce sunlight around and create  the illusion of space 

This is a bespoke cabinet made from oak veneer that has been treated in Osmo oil to bring out the natural beauty of its grain.

I am very happy to recommend John and Danny who decorated our drawing room, including wallpapering. The job was completed on time, with a high level of skill but also with an understanding of the character and age of the room. If any unforeseen things occur or they can see a solution to something, they will go above and beyond to be helpful. I look forward to working with them on more projects next year.

Above and beyond

We’re so grateful to John for all his excellent work. We asked John to decorate most of the rooms in our house, from wallpapering, painting and adding in a dado rail. All the work was done to an excellent quality and John was always willing to help and go the extra mile. We couldn’t recommend John enough and would ask him to help us out again with future work. We are very pleased with the decorating done by John. He explained clearly what would happen and when and went the extra mile to help. Everything was left clean and tidy with furniture returned to its place. We would

We met with John after just moving house to map out a rough decorating plan for each room. He made everything we wanted seem achievable whilst also balancing our ideas with his recommendations and advice. 

John has really helped us by giving us a great price breakdown including different price structures for different options ( for example cost of replacement vs cost of repair) 

We've just completed the living room decoration with all bedrooms and hallways to go.
