The Team

Another valued customer wanting a new light installed with no wires showing. The ceiling was easy, getting the new wire to the switch was a little more difficult. Customer supplied a beautiful glass lampshade and a standard bulb. Jim decided that the customer needed a "more appropriate bulb" so sourced a squirrel cage LED bulb to compliment the light in both it's style and the light colour produced.

A very good customer tasked us with coming up with something for her garden, after some digging and by being creative with hiding cables (including lifting decking and refitting) we got the desired effect, all done in energy efficient LED lights.

Garden Lighting

This kitchen had wall units both on the wall in the picture and on the opposite wall, customer wanted new under cupboard lights all controlled by one wire coming out of the existing switch....with no wires showing and no redecoration required. LED strip underneath the cupboards pointing inwards and not down towards the worktop. Uses the bottom of the cupboard as a reflector and helps to spread the light nicely.

Challenging wiring

Recessed 8watt LED downlighter installed without causing any damage to the ceiling, just waiting for the plasterer to cover up the hole where the existing light came out!!!

A customer purchased a house and planned a complete renovation prior to moving in. It may not look much but this light signifies the end of a huge amount of work in the house - every switch, socket, light fitting, aerial point....everything electrical replaced in the house, including the consumer unit. This light was the final item to be changed. Customer rarely saw our work and left us with a key to fit work in around other jobs to try and keep the costs down. Thank you Darren and Emma, a really fun project!!

No-one likes to see wires. The customer had a specific height requirement for this socket but didn't want to see wires. The inside was a challenge but socket is exactly where the customer requested and no marks to be seen, inside or out!

Ceiling light Saturday job

Called out to a customer who had a random tripping fault. After a mornings work we found this beauty trying to catch fire under a floor. Who knows what might have happened if we had t found it. Recommendations made to the customer on how to prevent this happening again

Quite a scary one this one, found this under a floor - still arcing and melting when we found it!!

New supply from the main house to the bottom of the garden for a new studio flat that we have to carry out the electrical install on

One of the hottest days of the year and we have to lay 60metres of armoured cable!!

Really high ceiling, had to move and replace a ceiling light with this beauty, than make good

Finished a project in Basingstoke today.  48 new low energy LED recessed downlights; All sockets, switches, aerial points and satellite points changed; Outside lights replaced and added; Extended circuits for the new extension to the house; Mains powered and interlinked smoke alarms through the house and linked heat alarm in the kitchen and finally a Replacement consumer unit/fuse box with full testing of the house to make sure it’s all as safe as possible!! Been a busy project but a great one!!

Customer wanted something unusual. We discussed the job on site then shared emails for a while until we came up with the basic idea, then tweaked it on site. As usual, no wires left visible and very pleased that I bought a new inspection camera just before this job as the cable routing was challenging!! The company handyman came along too and filled up the hole where the previous lights were removed.
