Kemp Town Flooring started out as Lancing Carpet Planners in 1979 working as a contract fitting firm for Maples, Waring and Gillow and Allied Carpets, all names from the past now, in the mid nineties Kemp Town Flooring Co was opened in St. James&#39;s Street Brighton. Kemp Town flooring is a family based company with Glenn at the helm, daughter Zoe, son in law Darren and Granddaughter Jorgi running the business with two grandsons working alongside the fitting team.. Glenn has 46 years experience in the flooring industry and all the fitters have been with the company for several years. Kemp Town Flooring cover a wide area and no job is too big or too small. Somebody who works for this company was extremely aggressive to me while driving. They were swearing at me, getting extremely close to the rear of my car and revving their engine while we were in stationary traffic. They then pulled down a road parallel and had their window rolled down, screaming me and telling me to pull over. Would not ever book work for a company with such aggressive staff.

I have bought carpets on several occasions in 45 years of home ownership.  This far and away the best service ever

From going into the showroom and first contact to taking order I was greeted with a calm relaxed approach and totally understood my needs

Laying carpet

Old carpet and underlay was taken up first and at my request new carpets and underlay was fitted a few days later.

Take up old carpets and underlay and Lay new carpet in two bedrooms and stairs

We returned to Kemptown Flooring as we have always been impressed by their service.  Once again we are delighted with the carpet and the professional, friendly staff.
