these were asphalt steps, we removed the asphalt put on some nice new GRP with anti slip coating on the treads

This is anti slip but instead of laying on wet top coat these are mixed in with the top coat before application.

Recent GRP fibreglass roofs

Once all the trimming was done we started laying the 600g csm where the heavy foot traffic Will be walking 

with the wall fillet trim fitted we have to make sure it can move with expansion and contraction. This is just before installing another trim on top but allowing movement 

Laying the 125mm rigid board insulation on top of the vapour layer ready for the osb3 tonge and groove boards to be fitted 

After the first layer of osb is fitted to the firings we installed the vapour barrier, next comes in the rigid board insulation 

If you’re wondering what the lumps in the roof are for, it’s so the safety railings can be fitted to the roof without penetrating the main fibreglass membrane

Steve was very friendly, he came out quicky to assess our leaking flat roof and took the time to explain what the cause was, although it was just a patch up job, knowing our flat roof was old we decided to have the whole roof upgraded.  Steve advised step by step what materials he would use and and what he’d be doing to fix the leaking flat roof.  Due to the temperamental weather he put a sheet up to help prevent further water damage until he could start works.  Following completion he took pictures to show end result.  Really pleased and less stressed!
