2011

Kitchen refurbishment

New gate, posts and door, furniture including decor

Client had squeaky chipboard flooring which was fitted down incorrectly, once screwed down WBP ply was ladis and fixed on top.

Tiled flooring and laminate flooring

After ply had been screwed down to chipboard flooring, laminate underlay was layed followed by oak style laminate complete with skirting.

New timber rails were installed and all making good was carried out ready for decoration.

The complete external face of this porch extension was totally rotten and had to be removed. After removing all rotten wood we then treated with 5 rot treatment and started rebuilding.

Fitted skirting, cornice, plinths and made shelves for kitchen.

Various standard doors to the same property were changed to luxury glazed oak doors which were finished with a bee wax creating a high standard finish.

A metal frame was removed from this staircase and a full height wooden one was installed with routered edges to accomodate the staircase much more than original.

Kitchen refit

Here we renovated this conservatory and replaced all the single pain glass for double glazed glass. We also carried out extensive repairs to the base which had wet rot.

A show flat kitted out in Eastbourne with very expensive doors and fittings and installed with the highest standard workmanship.

A flat in Brighton purchased by a previous client which required a complete decoration throughout and a quality solid oak flooring laid onto a foam underlay.

Flooring complete with solid oak beading, decorated throughout and clients furniture back in place.

At this address in Woodingdean we built the decking over a grass bank and repositioned the tree from another part of the garden to act as the main feature to the new decking.

At this clients house we rejuvenated a small bathroom with a new bathroom suite and tiled the floor and walls.

In this picture we installed pretty much everything that is to be seen. There are two sets of double french doors which lead to the decking from the kitchen and the living room. All windows were then installed finishing with ship lapped fascia and soffits.

This was laid by ltcarpentry and building services to a sports hall in Shoreham. It was a hard durable surface complete with a accoustic underlay.

Sometimes you need relatively small building/carpentry jobs done and it is great to get someone who is very experienced and totally trustworthy to do them.    Jason's team removed and replaced large and quite wide wooden window sills from a sunlounge in a 100 year old house, replastering the inadequate surface which was revealed beneath work which could not be quoted for. The result is excellent.   Last year we had external doors replaced and they work perfectly, this time another external door was kept but its frame was replaced.  We did our own painting of all new wood.  Extremely pleased.

Jason installed a large 4m x 4m aluminium pergola on short notice - great job, no fuss & very pleased with the result. Good communication whilst arranging the job. Would use again & recommend.

Reliable

I have used LT a number of times and the work is always excellent, transparent with price, helpful and happy to work with change and surprises! 

The team are friendly and clear up after themselves each evening which is helpful. I fond cups of tea slices of cake and the odd bacon sandwich keeps them happy and even more motivated than they are. 

Joking aside if you want a good job at a fair price be confident in contacting and working with them.

In addition to our kitchen, LT helped knocked through the wall between the WC and bathroom, enabling us to have a larger combined space. They helped accept the order and carry it all into the house. 
We are so pleased with the finish and care the team took, they even helped fix a broken window separately, sourcing the right part and came back to fit once we’d settled in. Will definitely be using them for future jobs. (Before and after pictures shared)
