We have been established since 1986 and one of the original members of Checkatrade since 1998. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of arboriculture, having carried out every conceivable form of tree surgery from reducing/dismantling large trees in awkward situations down to the correct pruning of old overgrown fruit trees. The main stem and trunk of the tree had tobe lowered via crane as not to damage the footpath and there are main drains close so to avoid damage a crane was used 

The white is fungus the split is right in the middle of the tree where a weak union was the tree was close to failing and had tobe removed

After assessing the tree it was evident that the church roof was taking all the weight. We had a scaffold built to support the trunk so we could dismantle it without causing further damage to the building

The only thing that kept this from falling into the adjacent pedestrian alleyway was an old cable brace higher up the trunk. Another local so called tree surgeon, (Hedges n something or other.....) wouldn't undertake this as was well out of their league.

The leader was literally hanging by a thread......and swinging on a splintered base ! We secured the leader and removed the weight close to the old cable brace

This Chestnut was well over due to be felled, there was extensive heartwood decay - no wonder one of the leaders split ! It was lucky no passers-by were injured.

So we used the stump planer attachment on our digger without any disruption to walling

After removing as many roots as possible the stump is the split into smaller sections with our cone splitter that can be easily cleared

An exceptionally professional and friendly team lad by Steve did an excellent job trimming my large Eucalyptus.  Finished the job by tidying up every last remaining twig on the ground. I can highly recommend M&M.

I needed a 150 year-old oak taken down in SW19 and the stump ground out. I put the job out for tender and M&M won. They completed the job in 1½ days on time and on budget, leaving a clean site behind them.

Steve & his crew gave a serious cut back to over grown trees & shrubs, the garden now has light, then a month later he laid new Turf 50m it looks like it did 12yrs ago when I had it first laid. On both occasions the garden, alleyway & drive was left clean & tidy. Excellent work.

Tree Pruning

Steve and his team removed a row of leylandii from the back of our garden, cutting them down and grinding out the stumps. They also ground out some other stumps on our property. The team were efficient and did a great job. They were good value for money and had access to bigger stump grinders than the other tree surgeons we contacted. I would happily use them again.
