What was meant to be an exciting home renovation turned into one of the most stressful and emotionally draining experiences of my life. Despite Marin’s initially enthusiastic attitude, I strongly urge anyone considering hiring him to think carefully — doing so could save not only your money but also your mental well-being.

We hired Marine from MBL Construction for a house extension and renovation, and it has been a complete disaster from day one. He sent people to site without tools or proper skills, then asked us to hire tools for them ourselves. After taking advance money, he left the country, promising work would continue—but nothing progressed.

What started as a simple renovation turned into a nightmare in 2023. Despite giving clear written instructions, language issues and incompetence led to disastrous results.

Here’s what we endured:
Severe Damage: They destroyed our interior walls, cut our original 1860 sash window frames which not necessary, and lowered our ceilings by 30cm instead of the requested 10cm and we encountered extra costs with incorrect ordering of multiple radiators that we could not get refunded.

Furniture Ruined: They assured us they would protect our belongings but ended up damaging valuable furniture and items
