Moss removal

Mark fromM& G came and looked at the job and gave me a quote which was good. On his way over to do the job he asked me to pay him £600.  It I said you Janet done anything yet. He said it was material money. I told I never have and are not going to give someone any money before the job has started. I usually pay at the end. So he said that was it he wasn’t going to do the job. Then he hung up.  
Be aware he sounds like a conman
