We have been renovating and upgrading people’s homes and workplaces for over 40 years, and have offices based both in North London and South of the Thames, meaning we are never too far away from wherever we are decorating. As well as all over London, we cover areas as far South as Guilford, West as Heathrow, East as Croydon and North as Finchley.From the beginning we specialised in domestic painting and decorating in North London and only got into commercial decorating a few years later.The years of being in people’s homes have taught us many things. Not least that our customers want cleanliness, pleasantness, reliability and a nice professional finish that will last. Of course we concentrate on just that and like to think we do it well.Around 1987 we moved south of the Thames and opened a second office near Wimbledon, while still keeping the North London office operating smoothly.As the years passed so our company grew. Now MJ Kloss has approximately 40 – 50 painters and decorators operating along with three estimators and five supervisors. This covers the wider areas we now work in.We still do try very hard to deliver a better service, knowing that alone is the secret to our continued success. Very happy with MJ Kloss,  we have used them a couple of times for internal and external decorating,  the workmen are punctual and work very hard,  the standards are high and communication with the company is easy

House painting

The painter from MJ Kloss did a very good job on 3 rooms in my home (1 being a large kitchen and dining area) and did a excellent job on repairing a crack in the plaster.
He worked efficiently and was very pleasant and well mannered.
I would definitely recommend Craig from MJ Kloss for painting.

A Painting Job Well Done

Have used Mj Kloss, late last year to paint my house all except the small bedroom as it had storage in there  so now the room is empty I got them back in to paint it, I could of used an odd job painter to do it but I wanted it done properly so I didnt hesitate for Mj Kloss to do it.
I had an estimate and the following week it was done. These guys are so professional and didnt even stop in the heatwave.

Prompt efficient and friendly

We had the pebble dashing on the front of our house painted. The company was quick to fit us in which pleased us and the scaffolding went up within a few days. There were 2 painters a couple of days later. We were disappointed to discover that they had not put a sealant coat as listed on the quote, (this is why I have taken off one star) but they did paint 3 coats of exterior emulsion once we raised the issue with a manager. That issue was dealt with promptly by Eddie, who is very easy to talk to and understanding of any concerns. We are very happy with the results. 👍

The whole process of working with MJ Kloss was a positive one. The estimate was done efficiently and speedily. Eddie, the manager, communicated well throughout the job. The painters, Danny and Nick, were great. They worked so hard stripping off wallpaper put up 50 years ago!They arrived early, were friendly and professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. I am really pleased with the quality of work done in my kitchen and sitting room. I'm glad I chose a local firm to carry out the work.

Professional job well done

We've used Kloss a lot over the years for large or fiddly painting jobs around the house. Really good. Properly scoped and costed and the people who come are professional and organised. They offer occasional deals which always prompt us to use them too! Highly recommended.
