There are rogues in ALL organizations lots slip through the net, so my advice is do your research, avoid what seem to be larger locksmith companies in the ads as a lot of companies are using their blog and wealth to get through vetting procedures to get themselves in popular brochures and directories. They are usually national call centres or franchises some open and some in disguise. Using them You will be the one paying higher prices for the privilege and of course their sub-contractors’ earnings, I&#39;ve seen it, I&#39;ve witnessed it &amp; I&#39;ve got photo proof of it, &amp; I have also reported it.  We shall see if things change. If they do, then you will all continue to see my pages remain for another exemplary 17 odd years, if you no longer see my business then things have not changed, and the so-called trusted organizations are just driven by money/ greed and no thought for you the potential customers who honest tradesman want to reach.

Amazing to think the screws back then were all made from square metal beaten, filed or sawn into shape

i belive from research this could easily be a 15th Century Screw. happy to be corrected of course

Brass De-burred and lighlty cleaned to allow smoother operation

Rust removed and gentle layers of protection applied to still show the original rivets and bridge warding plates hammered over to keep position

Warding is quite large due to the warding repair thickness

Called Paul around a month ago to arrange lock fitting. The price was agreed upfront and was all very reasonable. Job was carried out very professionally and Paul, himself, was a very nice guy. Would thoroughly recommend his service's and wouldn't hesitate to use him again if needed.

Lock replacement front and rear of property.

Paul was very professional and came to my flat for the first key but couldn’t get my key to connect with the car despite 2 hours of trying in the pouring rain! Made me a spare and came back 3 days later to my work to provide me with a whole new programmed in key for the same price as quoted at the beginning. Lovely guy and can’t recommend him enough!
