Once area has been treated inside and out we then proof the opening with stainless steel mesh to prevent further insects and rodent ingress. A very happy and relieved customer. 

The solution 

Right next to the entry point was the soil which we found cluster larvae and flies emerging from the soil 

The source of the problem 

Further investigation found this entry point allowing cluster flies into the wall cavity under the floor and then under the kitchen units allowing flies to enter the kitchen. Good find
