The wall was pointed using a traditional lime mortar mix.

We constructed this wall using 13" piers and panels. The wall was raked out during construction ready for pointing.

The client brief was to construct a period correct wall in keeping with the house.

The Garden was sheeted up with boards and tarpaulin.  The materials we lifted in with a crane in to position and we are ready to go.

The concrete slab was cast ready for the blockwork.

We rebuilt this front garden wall using a red brick and concrete coping stones and peir caps.

All the exterior works complete the house was finished in farrow and ball school house white.

We re rendered this section of masonry ready for decoration.

The scaffolding up, re rendered a section of plinth and starting preparing the masonry.

We removed areas of wood that had become rotten. Replace the beading. Treated, primed, undercoated and apply two coats of satinwood to the windows. The rendered reveals were also painted in a white masonry paint.

This is a Charcoal path with marble diamonds and a crazy paving marble step. Egged with a blue barley twist edging, green crushed glass and shingle troughs.

We used Royce-Hall for several brickwork jobs on our property, including repairing a boundary wall. Jordan and his team did an excellent job. The quality of the work was exactly what we wanted, and they were friendly, punctual, and easy to deal with throughout.

Very reasonable price and a smooth, stress-free experience. We would thoroughly recommend Royce-Hall and would definitely use them again.

Great job - would use again

Jordan was great to work with. He communicated well, turned up, did the work when he said, and finished on time. The price was fair for the high quality and general experience. We gave quite specific design info which Jordan met and exceeded. 

The work consisted of removing the existing steps, rebuilding the extended steps in block and brick with lime mortar Tiled with quarry tiles and grouted. We had a new door installed by a separate specialist afterwards. Photo of before & after.

We're already planning another project for some lime plastering that Jordan will hopefully do for us.

Jordan arrived on time and was tidy and considerate while carrying out the structural repairs he was commissioned to perform. The work was completed to a high standard with him returning an extra day to make sure it was finished properly. The area was left tidy afterwards. I got the impression that Jordan takes pride in the quality of his work.

Diligent and careful work

We recently had our chimneys rebuilt by Jordan and his team, and we are over joyed with the work they carried. Our home is a listed historic property, so finding skilled tradespeople who understand traditional building methods was really important to us. From the very first visit, the team showed genuine care and expertise. We will definitely be using them for any future projects we have.

I’m absolutely delighted with the brickwork and repointing that Royce-Hall Building Services did on my Georgian home. From the first visit, it was clear they really knew their stuff and cared about doing things properly.
