Karndean flooring

Solid unfinished oak aged tumbled parquet woodblocks which we fitted in a herringbone design with a 1block border around the perimeter. We then sanded and oiled the floor and because the blocks were aged and tumbled it gave the finished floor the appearance of being old ..

My guys removed the existing skirting boards in the lounge area then installed underlay and engineered wood then installed new skirting boards and doorbar thresholds to the lounge and orangery areas.

Great experience using Smartwood Flooring to sand and finish old floorboards that had a really bad DIY job previously. They managed to remove all of the sanding marks and stain and managed to fill areas that had been cut so they're hardly noticeable. Great communication throughout and really helped to shape our expectations as we weren't sure on how the floors would look when finished.

New look Floor space

We had our original (1960) parquet wood flooring refurbished by this company, it was damaged by a major water leak from upstairs.
Good communication throughout.
They were efficient and knowledgable.
Excellent finish, very pleased with the end result.
As an aside, we had three quotes for this work and all were within £100 of each other, which was reassuring.
