Solent Mobility is an independent family run business which has been open since 2008 and  concentrates very highly on its customer service and has been awarded accordingly with The customer service award and the retailer of the year award at the 2018 Portsmouth News Business Excellence awards. We pride ourselves on our excellence and our core value to which all our staff work hard to achieve is….. “We are passionate about providing a better quality of life for you and those that you care for” With one of the largest showrooms in the South we cater for all mobility requirements and much more.  We have a variety of products to try in-store including stair lifts, mobility scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, adjustable beds, walkers and daily living aids.The Store holds what is regarded as the largest selection of rise/recliner chairs on the south coast, available in a wide range of fabrics, leather and colours. Our two largest ranges, Celebrity and Sherborne, are both British made to a high quality and come with a five-year guarantee on motors, frames and controllers. There are a variety of styles to choose from and a range of prices to suit all. A large number of the chairs are available in different sizes with matching two and three-seater sofas and fixed chairs many of which are suitable for smaller homes. Solent Mobility supplies and fit a range of straight and curved stair lifts. We can supply New, Reconditioned or Rental options when purchasing a stair lift. We offer a no obligation Survey in which we suggest stair lift to suit your needs.Solent Mobility Centre offers a new membership scheme in which you can have the piece of mind that you can contact an engineer 24 hours a day. We will also come to your rescue when the shop is closed, including weekends.We have a number of engineers who work at Solent Mobility and we will always do our best to get to you if you have a problem with in 24 hours.  As Solent Mobility is an approved dealer by all of the major manufacturers, we can provide you with choice and competitive pricing and you can rely on the fact that we pride ourselves on building a reputation of integrity at every level of our business, not just with product and price but the level of industry-leading aftercare and support that we offer our customers.

Very speedy response to my query. Good clean work.  Very satisfied with outcome. 

Thorough service of unused stairlift with new battery too.

They arranged for a mobility scooter to be collected for a service and repair, after collection I was given a quote and had a discussion of my options.  After being given time to think things through, a new scooter was brought to my house, given a test drive, then allowed time to decided if it was right.  No pressure selling and part exchange offered.  Couldn't ask for a better service.

Lynn from Solent Mobility Centre (and her team) has been more than courteous and friendly in assisting me in sourcing a part from Scooterpac for my mobility scooter.   Not only did she (they) source if for me, but the legwork involved to determine exactly which part I needed was far and above what I would expect, especially as they weren't going to carry out any required repairs.  I cannot thank Lynn and her team enough, helping to ease the stress I was feeling from not being able to source the part myself.  Thanks again Lynn for getting this sorted for me!  Much appreciated
