Preston Park Project 

During the process of the Preston park refurbishment we had to include the following: Scaffolding, painted with red render grip, beaded, scratch coat of sand cement & lime, lead drip added to centre & porch roof of building, including full decoration of property & windows, cleaning of gutters & finally rubbish clearance. 

We were asked to visit this property at Preston Park Avenue to look at the existing brickwork. From our visit to the property we established that there was significant damp issues at the front and the side of the property. We found widespread damage across the building and a lot of the bricks had blown away, many of them had already been repaired ineffectively. We agreed that the best way to make the building weather tight was to render.

We then finalised by doing a final coat of sand & cement.

Then we went onto scratch coat and bead the wall 

Firstly we hacked off the existing pebble dash.

Our SouthRend decorating team then gave this property an aqua blue uplift.

We then went onto first scratch coat of sand, cement & lime. Then a second coat of the same consistency, all containing a mortar of waterproofer.

Aaron and James started on the time agreed and worked hard during the days of the job. We were kept informed at all times of the different stages of the work and we were very happy with the progress being made. The work was completed as originally planned and the premises were left clean and tidy with all the rubbish removed. Aaron and James were very professional and trustworthy and we would have no problem in recommending them.

We recently had South Rend skimmed 4 of our ceilings as they were artex, and we are so happy with their work! They were on time, professional and the quality of the work is outstanding! Unlike other friends who had similar work done by others, we didn't have plaster left everywhere, and they cleaned up so well afterwards. Thank you so much for such an amazing job, and finally covering the horrible textured ceilings.

Rendered the front of my house

Aaron has done an excellent work plastering the walls in our 1930s house and replacing some of the ceilings.  The work was done in stages and the team was very accommodating in planning and completing the work according to our needs.  The quality of the work was excellent and so was the communication throughout the project.  Having renovated our house in full now, I have worked with several contractors and Aaron was one of the most polite, professional and tidy contractors I’ve come across providing high quality service while keeping disruption to a minimum.
