<p>Meet the team. We are a family run business with over a combined 50 years experience in the trade. Mark is the father to Matthew and Luke. Who have worked hard together to become Stevens Brothers Builders. Mark is a great all rounder and help he specialises in driving the diggers, getting foundations ready and all groundwork.  Luke specialises as a carpenter with over 24 years experience in the trade. Leaving school he always had an interest in becoming a carpenter and worked very hard to gain his experience after finishing college. He is very knowledgeable and versatile with a great eye for detail in carpentry, woodworking and kitchens he has a background in residential, construction and remodeling to include framing, trim, skirtings, windows, doors, wardrobes, flooring and many more. Matthew specialises as a bricklayer with over 25 years experience in the trade. He left school and went into the building trade and learnt all he knows on the job. He is responsible for building and repairing walls, chimney stacks, and decorative stonework like archways, and patios. Mathew and Luke have a lot of experience building conservatories, extensions and new builds. They are both great project managers they are great at reading plans and specifications, and will help and advise when needed.They both possess In-depth knowledge of construction process from material selection,tools and equipment to quality assurance, cost control, and safety.</p>

Started with discussions and a detailed quotation to finalise the scope and cost estimates with phased payments linked to progress.
Any issues discovered during the build quickly had suggestions and solutions, this included with building control and the architect.
Scope creep (caused by the customer) during the refurb was discussed and costs agreed.
The Stevens Brothers team worked very well with other trades over the duration of the build.
Throughout the refurb the Stevens team was friendly and positive with good suggestions.
Highly recommended without hesitation.

We were recommended Stevens Brothers for an extension replacement and could not have been happier with the standard of work. Despite running into unexpected problems along the way, Matt & Luke were great at communicating with us, reliable and were clear about timelines and expectations. I would not hesitate for a second to have them back for further work in the future or recommend their services.

Extension replacement

This is the 2nd time that we have used Luke and Matt for building works and would still highly recommend them! They remain a family business, which reflects well on the work they carry out. They are reliable, have a good eye for detail and take pride in what they do. Any additional costs on top of what was agreed were well signposted and discussed before they carried out the work. 

Testament to their work was that after 8 months of extensive work on the property, there was only a couple of minor snags that were rectified within a day. 

Wokingham Extension and Loft Conversion Works

Very professional and friendly. Kept us informed what was going on at all times. Bricked up where window was and went out of there way to get matching bricks. Even came to fit a door for us. Overall a really great experience, would definitely recommend and use again.

Matt, Luke, Mark and Kyle were great.  Very good communication, always letting us know how everything was going.  We had major work for best part of a year with 2 young children and they couldn't have made the process any easier for us.
