Thank you for dropping by.About twelve years ago I started working for a very well known double glazing company; firstly as a window fitter then, not so long after, as a salesman.After a couple of years I became increasingly frustrated at the way customers were being treated. I would always make a point of giving customers my personal phone number, but when my time was being taken up solely, by trying to resolve inexcusable issues, ranging from poor customer service to shoddy workmanship, I knew enough was enough; It was time to set up my own enterprise and run things the way I knew they should be run.I started Truglaze in 2009 and ran it from my home. The speed with which the business took off still surprises me to this day and we were soon moving into our own premises.My brother Dave joined me shortly afterwards, having already run his own successful company for seven years. He shares the same values as me and we often talk about the poor service customers receive from other unscrupulous organisations.We both feel very uncomfortable that our industry treats so many people as cash cows, but the upside is that it has focused our attention on being the best we can possibly be.Because we are a family business and not a large corporate, we have a relaxed approach that puts people’s needs first, and financial gain a firm second. It’s our belief that there is no shame in making money, because if you do something well and you treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself when doing business, success is never far away.Making our clients happy is the sole purpose of our work I personally get involved in every single job we do, regardless of size. The customer wanted an extra opening in their lounge so we created the opening, toothed the brickwork and this is the end result.

For this project the customer wanted to replace their windows to improve the thermal efficiency of their home whilst retaining the looks and aesthetics of the house. We used the Smart aluminium window system which is installed directly into the existing hardwood window frames and sub frames.

After a bad experience in the past. We can’t praise Truglaze enough for recently fitting windows, front and back doors and bifolds.

Windows, dorms and bifolds

We decided that we wanted personal service from a local company rather than the pushy, sign-on-the-dotted-line today for a discount brigade. Truglaze certainly didn't disappoint. There was no hard sell tactics whatsoever. Lisa came to the house, sized up the job, took first measurements and details of what we wanted. Next thing on the list was a visit for a complete survey. This was followed by the order being placed and after a few days, an installation date was advised. Brett and Dan turned up as arranged and on time. The whole job took 4 days and was seamless. No hesitation in recommending.

Complete new conservatory

Rob sorted out a mess from a previous window company, The windows look great and the work was completed today 4 Nov. The installers noticed scratches on the glass and said they need to be replaced so I am hoping this will be done in the next few weeks. We are building on an extension next year 2025 and will definitely be using Truglaze.

Excellent job by Truglaze. Order process was very professional, replacement windows were of good quality and value, and the fitters were really  first rate. Polite and friendly service throughout, I would say this crew of Bret and Dan were about the best work crew we've had in our house - quick work, no messing about and very clean, they did leave the place spotless after every day of work. Would recommend without any reservations at all.
