  Do not use this firm

  I had my detached house hip roof and extension re roofed by this firm . They gave me a verbal quotation, but I should have got it in writing { my fault }. The final bill was £3,500 more than the quote which I foolishly paid, my fault again. I had to watch them all the time. They tried to get away with cracked tiles and all sorts of things. The firm left me with rubbish in the front garden which they said they would come back for but never have. Said the job had a guarantee and have nothing to back this up. A very untrustworthy firm . Unable to contact them they never pick up the phone.

  I am sure that Tony did all the electrical work to a high standard and to comply with the currant regulations. However I feel he should have consulted me more about the placement of some of the sockets before going ahead with the work. He left me with all the rubbish, which as a disabled person was hard to dispose of. He left the old switches and sockets still in the walls which I have had to remove. I am sure with more thought some of the wiring could have been routed differently which would have left me with less remedial work.
