  Poor plumbing service

  I can't speak to their electrical work, but I had a BAD experience with B&K when I recently hired them to replace the dripping tap in my kitchen with the new one I'd purchased online. I can provide a LOT of detail about how every stage went badly, but I'll just summarise by saying: 1) the work took 3 days to complete, 2) the tap was ultimately installed backwards & with bits unused, and the washing machine inlet under the sink reconnected to the wrong pipe, so now every load of laundry has to run on a hot wash unless I turn off the boiler, and 3) I was sent a bill for £270 labour!

  William is great, and the service was really fast.

  William at NLS was a godsend, and got me back in my house in Newcastle with ease, and just a mere 10 minutes after I first called NLS. A tradesman had dropped the sneck on my inner door when he'd left an hour earlier (even though that door wasn't even closed), and I hadn't noticed that when I went to help my elderly mum in with her bags, and a bloody breeze pulled the inner door shut behind me. So I was locked out and I didn't even have my shoes on, so William helping me get back in quickly was soooo appreciated, £90 be damned. He was cheery, professional, prompt, helpful, and good natured.
