  Solar Panels and Storage Battery

  We were given a lot of technical information, and told that the panels would pay for themselves in 15 years, (we are both in our 80s). Our main concern was the state of our roof, but the surveyor assured us it would be strong enough and he photographed the inside. When their men started work they found the battens were worn and there was no felt - this was obvious from the inside. We decided to continue the project and found excellent Roofers (Rayson), via Check-a Trade. Forevergreen then fitted the panels and battery, which we assume are working OK. Removing the scaffolding , another saga....

  Roof reslated, chimneys repointed and guttering replaced.

  We found the original inspection careful and plan of work needed clear. Rayson started work promptly and worked hard and carefully till the job was finished. The roof is now strong and weatherproof and looks very smart.
