  Very pleased with Mitch and the work he did for us. took evident pride and care in rehanging the door and leaving ready to decorate,so that old recesses for the hinges were carefully filled and planed. Very polite and respectful of our home.

  Making good window reveals + replastering walls

  Super job. Walls are glass smooth and windows now look fantastic as the plastic trim used to cover damage caused by the window fitters when they put in the windows has been replaced with flat plaster into the reveals. Dave was a delight to deal with throughout, highly recommend

  Replacement windows

  Very disappointed. Windows were missing components/damaged which was not picked up prior to installation. GHI practice in replacing secondary glazing is that they don’t make good, because “most” customers don’t want to re-decorate they cover with trim. In our case the trim at 95mm was double the width of the very expensive aluminium window frames, so you see more plastic than metal. We have had to agree to disagree if this is appropriate “making good” and have to get our own plasterer to sort this. Pics show what was hidden by trim. You judge if this is acceptable or you want GHI in your home

  Replace kitchen tap

  No issue with the work done as such, but not entirely happy with Ry for two reasons: (1) The price quoted was £99+VAT, I was charged £141+VAT because the job was "difficult", which I would have less of a problem with if the guy had not had to look up how to do the job on YouTube / phone his mate to figure out how to install the tap, or if this had been discussed with me before being billed; and (2) the engineer left with the old tap, which was perfectly good (a temporary replacement for a broken tap), so I am also down a £100 on a tap that was not broken / was not waste. Not discussed either

  A thing of beauty

  Adam replaced our partially collapsed front garden wall . He did a phenomenal job, building us a beautiful replacement wall with evident pride and craftsmanship. He was a pleasure to have working at our property, was tidy and very efficient. At a personal level he was easy to do business with, he gave clear quotes and options and discussed how we could achieve the look we wanted No hesitation in recommending him.

  Garden renovation

  Wayne and team did a decent job clearing a badly overgrown garden , returfing and laying a new path, jet washing and repointing a small patio and refurbishing a deck. Team was pllite and cleaned up after themselves including inside the property. Would use again

  Janis is polite, works quickly and efficiently and was very tidy. Overall a pleasure to deal with. He attended a rental property at short notice where the front door was binding.
