  Classic bait and switch. Would avoid

  Was told over the phone that it should be a quick 1hr job (to align a radiator pipe). Had to pay the hour upfront (£120 before VAT) Contractor arrived, said it was a complicated job and went to their van to give me a price. Came back 40 mins later smelling of cigaretts saying it would be £480. I said no but could you take the radiator off. Charged me another hr at £120. In the end I spent almost £300 for them to have a cig in their van and only remove a rad. Wouldnt work with them again (Ended up using a different plumber for the job. total cost £120 and he did some other jobs)
