  Proper family - Proper Plumbers

  Unfortunately Checkatrade does have a high percentage of supposed "tradespeople" but they certainly not reliable, interested in most of jobs, they show they "interested in", a simple plumbing job, fitting a replacement tap. I had 10 interested, only 3 actually contacted me, Mathews Plumbing & Heating were one, Dave Mc agreed next day, then said he couldn't after seeing job, it was a tap, and then blocked me from messaging him. So Georgie arranged visit a when they could come, Danny came did the job quick tidy no issues, and a decent price, so my new Plumber is now Mathews. Thanks Tom

  Extension to existing driveway

  Contacted 4 local people for job , a small 4m x 2m extension to our existing drive, Lewis at All seasons, rang back immediately, gave me advice re how, and what would be the best option for us, we got a good price for job as well. Settled on a charcoal block - work, picked stretcher bond pattern to tie in with on the house brickwork, and although he was busy he still tried to fit me in on following Saturday to do the job. Despite having staff shortages on the day, he still came and did job himself, so we weren't let down, but that proves what a very helpful and a nice lad he is.
