  Channel drains installed on shared driveway

  I hired Bert to install a 5m channel drain to fix flooding, but the work hasn't resolved the issue. The channels weren't properly connected, with messy silicone and concrete used as a quick fix. Joints in the channels have large gaps filled with concrete, and other parts have cracked and lifted. Water still pools due to poor fall. There is damage to my drive and my neighbour's side. Only 4m was installed, yet the price was increased and VAT was added without a supplied VAT number. When questioned he removed the extra charges on condition I paid his personal account. He is unwilling to return.

  Tile replacement, new oven hood and sink

  Turned up to job, and never came back

  Job was described as 'easy' and would only take a day. Waited weeks for a start date but cancelled due to weather. Asked for samples twice and was told both times would be dropped off next day. Finally get a start date at 7pm night before. Turned up on time and told me he couldn't go to the merchants until later. Instead of waiting around he went to another job (fair enough) but never went to merchant's, never gave me a sample, never answered my calls or returned to start the job. 7 weeks wasted and ruined the plans I had. If job was too easy maybe you shouldn't have taken it.

  Two new roof retiles including porches and removal of chimney

  After receiving a fast and very detailed qoute from Declan we wasted another 3 weeks chasing up 4 more qoutes. Supremo O Roofing were the most affordable and by far the most friendly and professional. Declan was on hand to answer any questions I asked him and his communicationation was the best I've ever come across. The work Declan and his team did replacing mine and my neighbours roof was incredible. A complete retile on both our roof and porches including removal of the chimney. The team was very polite and there was very little disruption to our our daily routine. Thanks guys!

  New Hinges on Windows

  Stewart did a great job replacing the broken hinges on 5 of our windows. They were damaged when we purchased the property and wish I had sorted it sooner. Super straight forward and very happy with the price. Stewart was very polite and left the area clean and tidy. Very happy and no more draughty windows!
