  Over the last 20 years, I've been disappointed with many tradesmen who have done a rushed job that fails within a few years or I've been annoyed of discovering how many corners previous trademen cut when their foundation work was revealed on jobs to be redone. Most of these also had good reviews, so this time I took a gamble on someone with none. Wayne and his team were very open about how things were done and what I didn't need; patient with my questions, No aggressive side-selling, focussed on the work, great banter!   I have a very old roof: One leak in roof and overall inspection.

  Work was actually carried out in October last year but it's taken me until now to remember who they were. I contacted many roofers in the past but most ghosted me. As soon as CSR replied to my initial message they came over to fix it the following day. Very polite and honest about the assessment on my roof, weren't pushy about recommending extra work but did state what wasn't necessary to replace. Price was agreed before work started and didn't change once finished. I would definitely call them again if another leak happens on my roof.

  DPF Servicing and Issues

  This company has fixed my car twice now and in both incidents overwhelmed me with the service, honesty and after-sales follow up. The main dealership quoted me a days labour plus thousands to fix what was essentially a straight-forward job and without any unnecessary work being added Miles and Sons resolved the problems and returned my car in only one hour. A week later and the car still drives fine. Highly recommended for any vehicle problems; if they haven't fixed a similar issue you may have in the past, it wouldn't take them long to figure it out. 10 out of 10 all round and thank you again!

  I came to Miles and Sons with a list of things that I wanted done, not knowing that some of it wasn't necessary. I was given options with accurate prices before the work was carried out, along with advice for what may need changing soon as well as a few turned down tasks that didn’t need changing at all. Upon completion they even followed up a few days later to ensure the car was ok. In short, they could've taken advantage if they wanted but didn't, honest mechanics are hard to find, especially when your vehicle is no longer under warranty so I'll definitely be coming back in future.
