  Shower - recessed thermostatic valves servicing

  Vas responded immediately and came the same day to review the job, when no-one else from Checkatrades proposed traders followed up. The job was difficult as the showers are 10+ years old with no markings. I expected to need new cartridges but after a lot of unsuccessful research to know which of many types to order, Vas persevered with removing the existing valves and cleaning/servicing them back to fully working order. Then only cost was time and labour. Vas was polite, responsive to my suggestions, hard working and got the job done quickly. Recommended

  restoration of old imprinted concrete driveway

  DixeyClean were recommended by the materials supplier Smartseal. (Most contractors claiming imprinted concrete wanted to sell a new driveway). The service was exactly as promised with colour matching by incremental pigment additions to our agreed saturation. The cost was a fraction of a new driveway and well worth it.

  Call out for heating system underperforming

  Jon responded promptly to a call out. We had returned from being away and the central heating was underperforming during a cold spell. He postponed a non-urgent job for another customer to get us heat again. The problem was not obvious and required significant diagnosis, successfully conducted, and avoiding unnecessary costly replacement parts.

  Jon fitted me in after I was let down by a previously booked plumber who was sick. Coming in twice, to remove and later re-plumb a radiator in a new position, either side of some building work.
