  Converted conservatory polycarbonate roof to insulated tiles roof

  This company was the most competitively priced of the quotes received. They were also able to start the job swiftly and turn it around quickly. They produced a very neat job which appears to be a vast improvement on the old roof and turns the conservatory into an extra room. What lets them down is their inability to tidy up after they’ve finished. I found dozens and dozens of screws, staples, plastic off cuts and a lot of sawdust in my garden after they had left. As did my neighbour. They also neglected to tell me that they would be erecting scaffolding until the day before, poor communication

  Gerard’s were tasked with lifting all our existing paving stones and relaying them

  They picked up all the existing old paving stones and laid a level base of 70mm of cement. Returned the following day to install the paving stones and to make a smooth, even driveway and also keep it flush with a manhole cover that was standing about 40mm proud. The team of three were always punctual, polite, friendly and in good humour throughout even when they suffered a couple of setbacks (not of their making). I would highly recommend Gerrards, great guys

  Painted all of the house interior and a bit of front of house

  Polite, punctual and hardworking, even stayed until 8pm on the last day to finish the job. Everything was protected with dust sheets, polythene bags and masking tape. Paint work was excellent but most impressive was the filling, sanding and painting of old holes in the walls, you can’t see a single one anymore !

  Preparing every surface then painting all walls, ceilings and woodwork and radiators

  These guys decorated over the weekend and late on into Monday to get the job finished. We’re always punctual, polite and very professional. They put down dust sheets throughout the house and masked off parts that weren’t to be painted or that they had already painted. They had to fill dozens of holes in the walls and then rub them down prior to emulsioning. You cannot see where the holes used to be! Also painted front for and the exterior woodwork around the porch. Communication was great and they (three) always had smiles on their faces.
