9 IMMERSION HEATER PROBLEM
Posted 05 May
Arrived a little later than expected, but quickly set to work and carried out extensive checks on the elictrical connections between the immersion heater and the mains. This resulted in them determining that the problem was in fact caused by a faulty thermostat in the main (lower) element. This was replaced with the thermostat from the 'booster' element, solving my problem and restoring my hot water! And all within an hour.Job location: DA11The Plumber
10 Immersion heater elements replacement
Posted 18 March 2025
Started early morning (8ish) and drained down and isolated the system. Removed the old elements and installed 2 new ones. Re-engaged the system and refilled the tanks. Tested the system for leakages and completed the iob by 11:30 am. I won't say it's job well done as yet, as that will depend on it standing up to full heating of the hot water tank in the morning, but I'm expecting it to pass with flying colours!Verified reviewerJob location: DA11The Plumber
10 electric shower unit replacement
Posted 14 March 2025
Arranged for plumber to arrive 14/3/25 am. Advised 30mins. before arrival, he was on the way. After being told my requirements, I was given a quote for the work and decided to go ahead. A new unlt was purchased and installed and everything looks to have been done to a high standard - just needs a shower to be taken to complete the job. All accomplished by 11am.Verified reviewerJob location: DA11Excel Electricians Ltd
10 storage heater fault
Posted 10 February 2025
Fault with an electric storage heater, solved very quickly through his having previous experience of systems similar to my old old system to which replacement heaters had been added without anyone knowing how it all worked. Once shown all the bits of the system he quickly resolved the issues. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Verified reviewerJob location: DA11
