  Required new fluted wooden surrounds to our parents house, plus doorstep replacement,.

  Jools was the only carpenter to take on replacing the wooden fluted surrounding to the house, replacement of the back doorstep and some minor brickwork repair. Jools met with us to discuss options, gave us timelines and a quote. All of which were very reasonable considering the amount of work required. We are extremely pleased with the work carried out, and would highly recommend Jools for any skilled carpentry work you may require. We will definitely be reaching out to him Audi we need a carpenter in future.

  The bottom shaved off from 7 doors

  We had new carpets and underlay, but the depth of these materials meant our doors no longer glided over the top, but dragged the new carpet, Leo was the only carpenter to take on the job of shaving off the bottom of 7 doors for us. He did an excellent job, and made sure I was happy with how much he had shaved off. He was very professional, polite, kept me informed of his arrival time, and cleared up afterwards. Would highly recommended.

  Plastering our kitchen ceiling following a water leak from our bathroom

  Following a leak from our bathroom we had water damage to our kitchen ceiling and needed it replaced-plastered. I decided to use the Check a trade app to put in a request for the work, as I have never had to have such building work done before. John Paul from JP Venn came back 1st and popped round to give me quote, which we thought was very reasonable. JP gave us a date of when he could complete the work, and how long. It was not an easy job due to the existing materials used in this kitchen, but JP did a great job . He cleaned up afterwards too . We would recommend his work.
