  Independent survey identified multiple defects

  We hired Mather Developments Ltd to build a front porch extension including foundations, brickwork and roof works. After the roof stage we raised concerns about the quality of workmanship and finishing. An independent RICS Chartered Surveyor later inspected the works and identified multiple defects including roof construction, weatherproofing and insulation installed below DPC level. We attempted to resolve the matter directly with the contractor, however liability has been denied and the issues remain unresolved. We have since obtained quotations for the significant remedial works required.
