  Paul Sims returning after 13 years

  Paul first decorated our house in 2013 and has returned this year to address the results of wear and tear. He split the work into three phases, so that we could move things around the house to give him space to work. This review is for March when he tackled most of the upstairs, as well as the sitting room and stairwell. Paul's standards, if anything, have risen since he last worked here. His preparation is meticulous. He covers everything that isn't going to be painted and sands and fills very carefully. His work is beautiful and his clearing up afterwards is faultless.

  Speedy resolution to thermostat problem

  We recently had a failure with our central heating thermostat which left us without heating for the weekend. We contacted SL Energy and (as this wasn't urgent) they phoned us back early on Monday morning to arrange for an engineer to visit. They managed to fit us in on Monday afternoon and quickly diagnosed the problem enabling us to run the heating until replacement parts could be ordered and installed.

  New close board fence

  Jamie and the team from Barnes Tree Surgeons did an excellent job recently installing a 25-metre close board fence. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the new fence looks great. They got the work done on time despite the terrible weather; they worked through near constant rain and did a particularly good job clearing up after they had finished. Thank you!
