  Disappointing...

  The job was a small permitted development brick porch. The initial contact was good with Josh. My main issues were the standard of work, attendance issues and defective/insufficient materials used. The quality of the brickwork, plastering and roof work was unsatisfactory. At times, he would turn up without prior notice and was absent for nearly 7-weeks. Some of the materials used were defective and insufficient. Overall, it was not a great experience. The term ‘Jack of all trades…’ comes to mind. Some work that was discussed at the initial stages of the project, was not fulfilled.

  Remedial repair...

  Carried out a remedial repair on a patch on rendering between bay windows. Good experience. Communication was prompt and clear. Sent prictures of the work required and a quote was given. Attended to do the work, as agreed. A pleasant worker who kept work area as clean as possible. I would ask Richard to carry out further work in he future.
