  Threatened to tear out finished work at a children's nursery

  Osborne Carpentry & Construction carried out ceiling work at a children's nursery. The invoice was addressed to the business premises and had no payment date or terms on it, yet when payment wasn't instant (we were waiting on the business owners to process it), he sent a message demanding payment within 24 hours and stating that if it wasn't paid he would come to the nursery, take the ceiling down and block the door back up. Despite invoicing the business, he then insisted the person who enquired about the job was personally liable. The invoice was paid in full. But to be clear: a tradesman h
