How to Leave a Review for a Tradesperson

Leaving a review for your tradesperson is one of the most important ways you can help other homeowners make confident choices. Your feedback can help trades build their reputation and gives valuable insight to the Checkatrade community.
To leave a Review on the Checkatrade Website:
Go to the review page Visit: Leave a Review for a Tradesperson | Give Feedback | Checkatrade
Search for the tradesperson Type their company name into the search bar. To help you find the correct one, the search will also show the area they are based in.
Complete the review form Fill in the short form with your details, your review, and your scores. We ask for your details for security purposes and to verify that your review is genuine.
Submit your feedback Once submitted, your review will be checked by our team to ensure it meets our standards. It may take up to 24 hours to appear on the tradesperson’s profile.
Leaving a Review Via the Checkatrade App
Log into the Consumer app Use your email address to log in. A secure code will be emailed to you to sign in.
Click on the “Reviews” tab Here you can easily leave reviews for trades you have submitted a job request to.
Find your trade If you haven't submitted a job request, you can use the “find trades to review” search bar.
Enter your review and information Let us know how they did and provide your feedback. Please add as much information as possible.
Submit your review Once you’ve submitted your review, it may take up to 24 hours for it to be verified and appear on the tradesperson’s profile. The team will reach out to you directly if we need any more information.
Please note if you would like help resolving an issue, you can submit a complaint to the Support team who will try to facilitate a resolution between yourself and the trade.
Adding to or Removing Your Review
To maintain a transparent and authentic record of experiences on our platform, reviews are considered a permanent part of a trade's profile and would only ever be removed in very limited circumstances.
However, we understand that situations can evolve and if you wish to add new information to your feedback, you can request an addition. The new information will be added to your original review and will be clearly marked as an addition.
